Cyber reputation checks

CyberGordon quickly provides you threat and risk information about observables like IP address or web domain.

Analysis demo How to request?

  • You can submit analyse using 2 methods:
    • This form: up to 10 observables of each of the following types: IPv4, IPv6, URL, Domain/FQDN, MD5, SHA-1, SHA-256 or email address ; either each separated by space or one per line.
    • URL query parameter: only one observable of the types listed above. Syntax: HTTP GET /request/_obs_ with _obs_ to be replaced by the desired observable.
  • For both methods you can also use one previous CyberGordon Request ID to retrieve the results.
  • Programmatic queries with a volume of 10 analyses per minute are tolerated, but any abuse will be blocked.

30+ fast engines
CyberGordon submits your observables to multiple sources (engines) to ensure good coverage in few seconds. Engines list

Summary reports
Results are easily readable with risk-based color for some engines and can be exported as Excel, PDF, CSV.

Passive checks
Observables are only searched in open security databases' existing records.

Private Analyses
All analyses are private and results can be viewed and shared up to 7 days, after this delay they are definitely deleted as well as analysis logs.

What's new in version 0.22.1 (30 July 2023)

  • Taking into account your feedback on the open survey, and because [E3] VirusTotal and [E32] IBM X-Force reach their quotas every period, we have decided to temporarily remove IPv4 analysis from these 2 engines.
  • With this change, their quotas will be reached three times later, allowing you to analyze other types of observables covered by these two engines: FQDNs, URLs and hashes.
  • This will be cancelled when we allow you to import your own API keys as foreseen in your roadmap.

What's new in version 0.22.0 (17 July 2023)

  • Since our update at the beginning of July, new restrictions on Twitter APIs have completely blocked our engine (search forbidden), so we've decided to disable the [E21] Twitter engine.
  • We have also removed the [E28] CryptoScamDB engine, which is no longer responding.
  • But, good news, we've deployed two new engines! The first, [E34] IPdata.co, gives you comprehensive information on IPv4 and IPv6. The second, [E35] Redirect Checker, will identify for you the target web page of a shortened URL.
  • Following numerous cases, any analysis containing an IPv4/IPv6 loopback, link-local or private address is now blocked.
